Developers build the parts. Editors build the pages.
Build pages from approved widgets, arrange the page tree, and preview with the real theme, without writing code.

Good pages start with the right parts.
Drag in approved widgets
Edit mode shows the layout's placeholder zones and a panel of widgets. Editors drag a widget into a zone, then open its settings in a popup to choose its content, such as the page a hero banner draws from.
- Widgets your developers approved
- Configured in a popup on the page
- Placeholder zones set by the layout
- Content, navigation, card, and search widgets

Shared layouts keep pages consistent
Layouts come from the frontend, and a widget added to a layout appears on every page that uses it. A collection can have its own layout, and a single page can override it by slug.
- Header and footer set once per layout
- A layout per collection
- Slug overrides for single pages
- The default layout as the fallback

Organise pages by dragging them
Pages list as a tree with their slug, status, and layout. Drag pages to reorder the hierarchy and the change saves itself. A new page needs only a title, and the slug and full path follow from where it sits.
- Reorder by dragging, saved automatically
- Slug and full path generated
- Show in navigation, with its own label
- Redirect pages

Preview the real page, then publish
Preview renders the page through the actual frontend with the site's theme. Publishing moves the page through its workflow, and edits to a published page open a new version.
- Rendered by the real frontend
- Dev Mode previews a developer's local build
- Published pages lock
- A warning when someone else saves first
